Filming games used to be a constant frustration.

Before the first pitch, we were tying cameras to the fence with zip ties and crossing our fingers that the angle wouldn’t shift the moment a fastball hit the backstop. And more often than not, it did.

Right when our player stepped up to the plate, the camera had moved, the focus locked onto the fence, and the shot we wanted was replaced with blurry, obstructed footage. Holding a phone against the fence wasn’t much better. The video came out shaky, and if the ball was put in play, we’d either miss the moment entirely or end up filming the ground while reacting to the game.

We knew there had to be a better way, but nothing out there actually solved the problem.

So we built one.

After years of testing, refining, and going through multiple prototypes, we created a solution designed specifically for this exact challenge. Fence Mod combines real-world experience filming baseball and softball with thoughtful design to create a simple, durable, and reliable way to capture the game.
